A/N: So it's been pretty much forever since I updated this story, but as promised, it has not been shelved. Merely sidetracked. Blame K&C for soaking up my free time ;). So ok, I've been pretty MIA from this journal for awhile. Life has been pretty wacky lately. What with school and the whole social life gig I'm still trying to work on. On a funner note I've been working pretty hard on getting all the coding fixed for the new Xangel archive I finally got finshed last month. Still not sure what was wrong there, the coding and stuff kinda just went kablooey overnight, but alas, all is well now. So yeah, if any of the few peeps who stop in here are at all interested in le Xangel fiction you guys should go take a peek.

I'd also like to let any of the readers out there know that I haven't dropped my Things That I've Lost Series, It's sort of had to take a back seat lately in favore of getting the site up and running, but now that most of the hard stuff is out of the way, at least for the time being, I should be able to start working again on the story sometime soon.

A/N: Holy crap, this piece was a monster to write. Ever worked on just one of those stories before that just wants to fight you tooth and nail for every line you put down? I'm not sure how many times I re-wrote this because it wasn't really working the way I wanted it to, still not sure it does really. Hopefully the next chapters will be less erm...difficult than this one was. Thanks again to all the great response I got from fans, it made sticking with this bearable.

Blah, so okay, school is totally kicking my ass lately. Along with all the other random hi-jinks that seem to be enjoying themselves by popping up at the most annoying of moments.

Anyways, I just wanted to let all my readers know that I'm going to try to get a new chapter of Things That I've Lost up sometime over the weekend. My original plan was to keep most of the chapters relatively short so that I could post frequently and get it out there to you guys. Mostly because as a reader I hate reading WIP, and as a writer I kinda need the pressure of a deadline in order to get anything done in a relative time :P

My muse is being all cranky over the new chapter so far, but I think after I offer her a little praise and possibly some sort of sacrifice she'll help me out a bit.
